Copiers – Initial user set up and instructions for use

To use the Sharp copiers located in common areas users will need to use a fob that is registered with the Papercut server that controls access to copiers.  To set up a fob to use with copier please follow instructions below.

  • Swipe new/"blank" fob at copier
  • Enter User ID and Password. This will be the same credentials as their Windows AD username/password. There is a physical keyboard that the user can pull out on each copier for ease of use versus using the touch display.
  • Hit the Set button. This should apply the changes. If it does not either try again or customer should call AME support Center to log a call.
  • Once set, users can swipe the fobs to release print jobs, make copies, scan, etc.
