Social Concerns encourages the Community to grow in a deeper understanding of Catholic Social Teaching by providing resources and strategies for effective action in parishes, schools, and surrounding communities. Most importantly, it calls us to a deeper understanding of living out the Two Greatest Commandments: to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.

Upcoming Events

September 4, 2025: Mass for the Season of Creation 6 pm at St. Thomas parish is Fortville, IN. Archbishop Thompson will be the celebrant. Hosted by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Creation Care Ministry. Light refreshments to follow.

September 20, 2025: Catholic Social Teaching Workshop 9am -2 pm at Nativity Catholic Church. Cost is $15. Lunch included. Download flyer
