Conference Room Phone and AV Technology

All conference rooms (Providence, Benedictine, Charity, Franciscan, and Carmelite) now have conference phones located in them.  These conference phones are available for placing local or long distance phone calls within the continental United States.   Please try to use toll free numbers when placing calls.  International calling requires a password to access.   Please contact the support center if you need international access by calling 1420 option 2 and ask them for the code. Do not remove the phones from the conference rooms or remove the phones from the conference tables.

The Benedictine Conference room is fully equipped with equipment for presentations for meetings. It has large screen TV with a personal computer with wireless keyboard and mouse, remote control for advancing Powerpoint slides, and speakers.  The computer is available to be used by logging in with an Archdiocese of Indianapolis user ID.  Once logged in you are able to access the network drives that are mapped on your personal system (M: or K:).  In order to use the computer you must have a user id on the network.  No guest user accounts are set up.

The large screen TV has 4 HDMI inputs and three are currently configured as follows:

  • HDMI 1 – Connected to computer set up in Benedictine
  • HDMI 2 – Connected to DVD/VCR in cabinet
  • HDMI 3 – Cable to connect to end user provided laptop
  • HDMI 4 – Future use for wireless projection of images from PC/Tablet/Phone using Miracast or Airplay.

The phone set up in Benedictine is a high end phone with remote microphones.  There is a very long cable connected to the network so the phone can be moved to the main tables and microphones can be extended out to tables for larger groups.  Please move the phone and microphones back to the cabinet after you are done.
