The Muncie Catholic Pastorate, including St. Francis of Assisi, St. Lawrence, and St. Mary Catholic churches, and St. Michael Catholic School, is seeking a detail‑oriented, mission‑driven Finance Manager to join our team. This role supports the life of our pastorate by overseeing the accounting team, financial reporting, budgeting, and our daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate parish financial records and reports
  • Coordinate budgeting and long-term financial planning for the pastorate
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with diocesan policies and internal controls
  • Support the Pastor, Director of Operations, and Finance Council with clear, timely financial information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA preferred with at least three years of accounting and bookkeeping experience (nonprofit/parish experience a plus)
  • Experience with Sage Intacct Accounting Software a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and integrity
