Intern – Hispanic Ministry

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Intern to support Hispanic Ministry, with a special focus on Young Adult Ministry. This role offers hands-on experience in pastoral ministry, event coordination, and community outreach. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with a heart for service, strong communication skills, and a desire to grow in ministry leadership. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Young Adult Ministry
• Assist in developing and leading initiatives for Hispanic/Latino young adults.
• Collaborate with the Office of Young Adult Ministry to align programming and outreach.
• Support parish leaders in launching or strengthening young adult ministry efforts.
• Parish & Community Engagement
• Build relationships with pastors and lay leaders across the archdiocese.
• Provide ministry support and resources tailored to parish needs.
• Promote collaboration and cultural understanding within diverse communities.
• Event Planning & Support
• Help organize and execute events such as Family Camp and the Feast of Pentecost.
• Assist with logistics, volunteer coordination, and promotional efforts.
• Communications & Media
• Maintain and update the Hispanic Ministry website.
• Create and manage social media content to promote events and resources.
• Design brochures, flyers, and other materials for outreach.
• Send regular updates to stakeholders (e.g., quarterly newsletters).
• Leadership Development
• Assist in creating resources for leadership formation within the Hispanic Catholic community.
• Support training and development initiatives for parish leaders.
• Administrative Support
• Participate in team meetings and strategic planning.
• Help with scheduling, documentation, and other administrative tasks.
• Other Duties
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Coordinator of Hispanic Ministry.
