The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is seeking Human Resources Assistant for their office in downtown Indianapolis. This is an in-person position 4 days per week.

The Human Resources Assistant will provide assistance with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. This position will provide general administrative support to the department as well as assist with completion of various projects as they arise.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of general human resources practices including benefits administration.
  • Proficiency with databases, payroll systems, and other technology related to human resources administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with human resources tasks such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Support HR team in benefit administration and talent acquisition efforts, including scheduling interviews
  • Assist with benefits administration and payroll processing using Microsoft Excel and other HR software.
  • Communicate effectively with employees to address HR-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
