Security Self Assessment

The Parish IT Security Self-Assessment was presented at the Priest - PLC Business Meeting, October 25, 2016, as a tool to help parishes determine how prepared they are in protecting against IT security breaches.   A goal was set to have the self-assessment using professional IT services by January 31, 2018. Professional IT services would be either staff member or IT service company that has been trained and certified technicians in the areas of IT desktop, server, network support, and IT security and engages in continuing education to keep up to date on IT support and security risks.  If a parish does not have professional IT services, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis IT Support Center, staffed by the AME Group, is available to provide an IT security assessment.  The AME Group can be contracted for a fixed cost assessment.  Please download this brochure for details of the assessment and services they provide.  If assistance is needed with parish self-assessments please contact Deacon Ron Pirau for assistance.

If your parish experiences an IT security breach please contact Deacon Ron Pirau to report the incident. Details of their support and costs for services are provided by downloading this brochure.
