The Archdiocese of Indianapolis includes:

- 5 Catholic Charities agencies
Our ministries extend far beyond these numbers, reaching Catholics and non-Catholics alike, teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, serving families and people in need, promoting peace and justice, supporting young adults, embracing diverse cultures, fostering religious vocations, and educating youth.
Teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- This is our primary aim, lived out in all that we do.
Serving families and people in need
- Birthline: provides resources for pregnant mothers, fathers, and young families.
- Catholic Charities and Crisis Center: provide help and hope for people in need, advocates for justice in social structures, and calls the entire church and other people of good will to do the same.
- Health Ministries: assist with hospice, palliative care, mental health, and training of parish nurses.
- Divorce/Grief: provides programs for marriage difficulties and periods of grief.
- Marriage Preparation: prepares young couples for the marriage sacrament.
- Natural Family Planning: educates young couples in spiritually and physically healthy family planning options.
- Project Rachel: helps those suffering from post-abortion trauma experience the hope and healing of Christ through Project Rachel.
- Special Needs Ministry: provides catechetical resources and activities for people with disabilities.
Promoting Peace
- Ecumenism: assists the Archdiocese of Indianapolis (Archbishop, Catholic Center, Deaneries, Parishes and pastoral staffs) in nurturing relations with people of faith, whether Christian or non-Christian.
Encouraging young adults
- Butler Catholic Community: serves Catholic students at Butler University through the archdiocesan Office for Young Adult and Campus Ministry (Indycatholic.org)
- IndyCatholic: exists to seek, find and invite all young adults (18-39) in Indianapolis to authentic life in Jesus Christ and to spiritually equip them to become lifelong, missionary disciples.
Serving different cultures
Fostering religious vocations
- Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary: seminary at Marian University forming college-age men for a priestly vocation.
- Clergy Retirement and Benefits: aids clergy in their health and care throughout their years of service and beyond.
- Deacon Formation: aids men in discerning and being educated in the role of deacon.
- Office of Vocations: fosters individual discernment of the call to priesthood, diaconate and religious life.
Educating youth
- Office of Catholic Schools: supports with open doors, arms, and hearts, the formation of young people through holistic, engaging, and academically excellent programming that integrates faith, culture, and life as modeled by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
- Catholic Youth Organization: enhances faith formation and personal development of youth by providing athletic, camping and enrichment opportunities.
- Youth Ministry: forms young people to be engaged and committed disciples in their faith and community.
