Seeking Winter Donations for Refugees' First Indiana Winter

Many refugees come from climates foreign to ours and will experience the cold and snow for the first time this winter. We expect to receive around 150 refugees in the next 3 months. Any donation of coats, hats, and gloves is much appreciated!

To donate, please contact Ethan Irbe at (317)236-1499 or eirbe@archindy.org.

FY 2014: Program's Largest Resettlement Year to Date

Resettlement to the United States is a life-saving opportunity granted to less than one half of one percent of refugees worldwide. In order to be eligible for resettlement to the United States, refugees must pass through a detailed, rigorous screening process.

Refugee and Immigrant Services (RIS) has welcomed over 500 refugees to Indianapolis each year since 2012. The coming year proves to be no different, as RIS plans to resettle 550 refugees in 2015.

As always, we thank you for your support in welcoming refugees to Indianapolis!
