Birthline Phone Volunteer
Help build a culture of from your own home by answering the Birthline Helpline, providing a listening ear, and scheduling appointments for pregnant women and new moms to receive material assistance. Training is provided.

Birthline Volunteer
Volunteer on Mondays or Wednesdays in Birthline to prepare layettes for clients, sort donations, or meet with clients individually. Training is provided.

Office of Pro-Life and Family Life Intercessor
Become a prayer intercessor and receive prayer intentions via email (no more than once per week) regarding pro-life and family life efforts.

Assist in preparing mailings, folders for event participants, and other office tasks on a as needed basis.

Health Ministry Coordinator/Parish Nurse
With the approval and direction of your pastor or Parish Life Coordinator, provide individuals with a valuable resources and links to health care, focusing on the spiritual, physical and emotional aspects of health. Programming that utilizes support groups, education, socialization and prayer to promote well-being are promoted. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Project Rachel (post-abortion healing) promoter
Contribute to spreading the good news of God’s mercy and healing for those suffering from a past abortion in your parish and community. Resources such as Project Rachel brochures, business cards, and fliers are provided.

Project Rachel Counselor
Be on a referral list of professional counselors for those seeking healing following abortion. Information specific to post-abortion healing is provided.

Respect Life Coordinator
With the approval and direction of your pastor or Parish Life Coordinator, become a designated parish respect life coordinator and coordinate various pro-life initiatives which include the four components of the USCCB Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities – prayer and worship, public information and education, pastoral care, and public policy. Some resources and guidance are provided.

Special Event Volunteer
Provide a variety of assistance at special events. Opportunities include greeting participants, assisting at event registration, and more.

Substance Abuse Ministry (SAM) Team Member
Provide education to parishes and serve a resource to clergy and parishioners as well as provide spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families coping with substance abuse. Training is provided.
