When This Day is Done

With every breath I take
When this day is done,
I think of You, my God
Who art in, with, and through me.

God’s love, joy, and peace flow
From the Blessed Sacrament,
Where two hearts become one
As Eucharist is received.

Gratefulness overwhelms me,
As I give thanks for my life,
And look forward to Heaven
When this life is done.
