Associate Director, Indiana Catholic Conference

The Indiana Catholic Conference (ICC) is seeking a full time Associate Director who, working collaboratively with and under the direction of the Executive Director, serves as a representative of the five Roman Catholic Dioceses in Indiana on public policy matters.  

Candidates must be professed and practicing Catholics in good standing in the Church who understand Catholic social doctrine and its application in public life. The ideal candidate will have government relations and public policy experience, strong communication skills and ability to create communications strategy in both written and verbal form, strong technology skills, and a commitment to constant learning. A graduate degree in political science, theology, philosophy, English, history, law, economics or related field is preferred.

Key responsibilities include representing the Catholic Church in Indiana as a registered lobbyist before legislators and government officials, presenting policy positions during meetings of the Indiana General Assembly, executing the ICC's external communications with all stakeholders, and maintaining and expanding the ICC's advocacy network.
