Our Lady of Fatima Retreat House welcomes people from various religious traditions and not-for-profit groups in addition to meeting the needs of the Catholic community.

Food and beverage

Our executive chef and his staff prepare and serve all meals buffet-style. Menus are carefully chosen by the chef. If we are notified at least a week in advance of any medical dietary restrictions in your group, we will do our best to accommodate these special needs.

All meals include beverages. Lunch and dinner also include dessert.

  • Continental Breakfast -  $6.00
  • Breakfast @ 8:00 - $9.00
  • Lunch @ Noon -  $11.00
  • Dinner @ 6:00 - $13.50

Snacks and soft drinks are also available upon request and for an additional fee.

Nourishment plays an important part in a retreat...there are psychological benefits to breaking bread together.


Overnights

Welcome to an environment away from the world that will encourage your group to relax, unwind, and gain some perspective.

  • There are no telephones, televisions, or clocks
  • We have a recliner and a desk in most of the rooms
  • Each room has an individually-controlled thermostat
  • The facility is air conditioned during the summer months
  • Every two bedrooms share one bathroom
  • We provide linens and towels
  • We have a total of 62 guest rooms
  • 18 rooms have one twin bed ($57 per night)
  • 24 rooms have one double bed ($57 per night, single person or married couple)
  • 20 rooms have two twin beds ($80.50 per night or $40.25 per person)

In addition to meal and overnight room charges, there may be a conference room charge depending on the number of people spending the night and having meals. We also have a 15% administrative fee that is added on to all of the charges for each group.

Sleeping rooms are simple, yet comfortable.

To keep our rates affordable, we ask that our guests change their bed sheets upon departure. Please inform the members of your group that they may want to bring an alarm clock. Bed linens and bath towels are provided.


Reservations

Reservations may be made by emailing our Associate Director of Programs, Cheryl McSweeney or calling her at 317-545-7681 ext. 106, who will handle all arrangements for bedrooms, meeting space, set up, meals, snacks and AV equipment.

A deposit of 25% of the estimated costs will be due along with your signed contract.

We will strive to provide an environment that allows you a quiet place to "come away by yourselves and rest a while" with God. We want to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to helping your group accomplish its goals.

Meeting space

  • Main level conference room has a view of outdoors.
  • Main level conference room seats up to 100+, theater style, or approximately 60-70 at tables
  • Lower level conference room seats up to 200, theater style, or 100 at tables and can be divided into three smaller areas
  • O'Meara Room seats up to 10
  • Schmidlin Community Room seats up to 12

Parking is limited at the retreat house. We have a total of 60 paved parking spots. If your group is larger than 60, especially if each guest is driving a vehicle, carpooling or group transportation is highly encouraged! Thank you for your assistance with this.

The chapel is available to all guests at no extra charge, and can accommodate 128. Please schedule group prayer with Cheryl McSweeney, our Associate Director of Programs to avoid conflicts with other groups.

We welcome private retreats in our center as space allows:

  • Private room with semi-private bath in main facility
  • Room with one twin bed or one double bed: $56 per night. Meals are an additional charge.
  • You may also choose, if space is available, to join us during the daytime only, reserving a bedroom to use for the day. Contact Mary Lechtanski for fees and more information (contact information below).
  • Meals may or may not be available depending on the number of people in the house at the time you are here; however, there is a guest refrigerator and microwave available as well as many restaurants nearby for carry-out food or for delivery.
  • Private directed retreats are available for an additional suggested donation over and above the overnight room fee of $56.00. Please contact Mary Schaffner, Associate Director of Spirituality Ministries, if you are interested in adding spiritual direction. As an agency of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis, we are required to have each hosted group submit proof of liability insurance coverage prior to your stay at Fatima Retreat House.
