July 20-26, 2008

Mass for Chastity, July 25, 2008 at St. Luke, Indianapolis
- Couple to Couple League of Greater Indianapoli is planning our Mass for Chastity at St. Luke Catholic Church (7575 Holliday Drive East, Indianapolis) on Friday evening, July 25, at 7pm.
- Fr. Brian Dudzinski, from St. John Vianney in Fishers, will offer the Mass, along with a short period of adoration and benediction afterwards. There will be a reception following, along with a recognition award presented to Jan & Dave Caito, for their many years of dedicated service to the Couple to Couple League in the Indianapolis area.

A message from the U.S. Bishops’ (USCCB) Pro-Life Secretariat:
National NFP Awareness Week will be celebrated on July 20-26, 2008. This week was chosen to commemorate the anniversary of Humanae vitae. This year, the encyclical will be forty years-old on July 25; the theme of the poster therefore, is taken from Humanae vitae. The words, “freely, totally, faithfully” reference Church teachings which speak of married love as given freely, totally and faithfully.
It is our hope that during National NFP Awareness Week you will promote this important encyclical in programs of marriage preparation, marriage enrichment and general education in the parishes of your diocese.
Please remember, you have our permission to use the above resources in your diocesan newspapers and publications. Please be sure to reference them as “Used with permission, Natural Family Planning Program, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Washington, DC 2008.”
