The Christmas Store, located in the Xavier Building, 1435 N. Illinois Street, will open Dec. 2. More than 700 needy families will shop for Christmas gifts and clothing for their children. Donations of time, gifts and money help bring a brighter Christmas season for these families in need. In many cases, the gifts provided by the Christmas Store will be the ONLY Christmas items these families will receive. There are three ways you can help:

Volunteer: The Christmas Store will be open November 27, 28, 30, December 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 18. (Shifts vary per day.) One-piece infant clothing with long sleeves & legs, Sizes 0—18 months, especially  sizes  9, 12, & 18 months.
Boys’ Jeans/Pants in Sizes 2T—18.  Girls’ Jeans/Pants in Sizes 2T---16.
Long-sleeve tops for Boys or Girls, Sizes 2T---18; zip-front hoodies are especially popular.
Adult-size long sleeve tops for Teen Girls, Sizes  XS—XLarge & for Teen Boys, Sizes  Small—2X.
